Future Proofed was the identity designed for the IADT Visual Communications Graduate Show at IADT by Pierce Cunnane and myself.
The identity needed to represent twenty three very different designers and also needed to describe how students from IADT set themselves apart from other colleges. Based on this, the name developed for the show was chosen; Future Proofed meaning that the students are ready for working in professional practice when they graduate.
By using a bold graphic style to try and signify the different personalities of the students in the graduating class, the identity was conceived. The identity features the word FUTURE in bold graphic letters and stemming from each letter are the names of the students accompanied by a prospective future job.
The identity was lithographically printed with spot neon pink and silver inks and distributed to all of the creative studios in Dublin as an invitation for the exhibition.
This project was one of only 100 projects chosen as part of the 100 Archive 2015 Selection.
